As the largest transport network in Austria, Wiener Linien provides its services to around 2 million passengers every day.
Wiener Linien considers diversity to be its strength. In order to systematically promote DEI, people in leadership positions should be made aware of diversity and unconscious bias.
We designed the #vielfaltbewegt (engl. #diversitymoves) workshop series for people in leadership positions to raise awareness of unconscious assumptions.
In order to allow for the participants of these workshops to act as multipliers, we put together a toolbox that lets participants conduct internal workshops by themselves. We also developed a DEI module for the customer service course.
ELearning nuggets rounded off our learning program for Wiener Linien.
Wiener Linien is very colorful and diverse - as a company we see diversity as a major asset because diversity and tolerance improve the collaboration of our over 8700 employees, but also the way we work with our customers.
The workshops with factor-D helped to deal with conscious and unconscious prejudices and to reflect on the individual everyday work as well as to significantly reduce such biases in decision-making processes. In the different formats, our employees have been able to learn something new – and to learn something about themselves – through sound and insightful practice.
