As a global movement of people working to protect and advance human rights for all, Amnesty International is strongly committed to diversity, equity and inclusion. DEI is a must for Amnesty to innovate, grow and impact, because without DEI Amnesty cannot fulfill its mission.

To increase diversity in all areas and levels and create an inclusive culture for all people who work for Amnesty, the intention is to implement concrete initiatives.

We conducted workshops on the topic of unconscious bias and inclusive leadership to sensitize the participants to their individual assumptions, but also to analyze the effects of bias on working with others. In addition, we have identified where initiatives are needed at the organizational level, in order to be able to promote DEI in the long term.

With their Anti-Bias workshops, factor-D has given us important impulses on our way to accepting diversity, promoting an inclusive culture and improving justice and accessibility for everyone. We were able to sharpen the view of our own prejudices and blind spots and the concrete confrontation with them in our daily interaction with one another!
